We worked closely with the Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) team to create a commemorative book to celebrate the 6-year partnership between NTFGH and Bukit Batok SMC. We proposed a concept that is themed "Life in Colors". Life in Colors is a story about people who live their lives to the fullest and encourage readers to see the world through the eyes of others.
We supported NTFGH in the designing and
printing of their publication; Bukit Batok SMC commemorative book. Which included
illustration and photography.
Setting the Tone
Unlike past commemorative books, the 6-year partnership with Bukit Batok SMC was a community-driven one, hence the book wanted to reflect that – putting residents at
he heart of it. We conceptualised the design and editorial direction, as well as the book's narrative outline
to convey this.
Inspiring Storytelling
Our editorial and production teams met the featured residents to get to know their healthcare journeys and capture moments that are key to their stories. We made residents the heroes of their own stories, pairing photographs with vibrant illustrations that showed how they took charge of their own health and the positive habits they have adopted.
Outreach on Different Platforms
To complement the physical book distributed to Bukit Batok SMC residents and NTFGH stakeholders, we created a flippable e-book accessible to the greater public, as well as publicity videos on social media to promote the book's launch.
