Space Design
The Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) InnoCanvas Space is a communal space by Tan Tock Seng Hospital for users to sketch ideas and experience future innovations in the healthcare system. In this space, visitors are invited to put themselves in the shoes of patients and go through journey from hospital to community.
We supported Tan Tock Seng Hospital in revamping the InnoCanvas Space to reflect
their latest vision and mission
of bringing healthcare
to communities.
Building the Health Kampung
Guided by the theme of Health Kampung, the InnoCanvas space was divided into sections with its own objectives and key messages. We brought the clients' ideas to life by proposing creative solutions that fit the space.
Designing a
Cohesive Experience
We set the tone for the space's look and feel, creating an identity that is friendly, engaging and informative.
A bright colour palette is paired with friendly illustrations of people in motion. Icons are used as visual cues.
We set the style guide to ensure consistency and clear
information hierarchy.
Interactive Experiences
Together with the client, we created simple puzzles and activities users could partake in as they go through the space. This puts users into the shoes of healthcare professionals to help them break down key messages and information. It also makes for a more engaging experience as it encourages audience participation.
Scanning of QR codes as calls-to-action is also integrated into the whole experience at various touch-points such as posters, and on props.
